Who receives texts
Only customers with an active party/equipment rental booking who affirmatively opted in to SMS. We do not text cold leads or purchased lists.
How you opt in (website)
On our public quote/cart form at www.bsaevents.com/cart (also on checkout), after entering a mobile number you must actively check an unchecked-by-default checkbox that states:
I agree to receive transactional SMS messages from BSA Events about my rental delivery and setup (on the way, ETA, arrived, setup complete, and tracking links). Message frequency is low (typically 1–3 per delivery). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not required to request a quote or book. See our Privacy Policy and Terms.
Consent is not required to request a quote or complete a booking. SMS is sent only when the box is checked.
Phone / in-person bookings (verbal script)
If a customer books by phone or in person and wants delivery SMS, staff reads this script and only enables SMS after the customer says yes:
“This is BSA Events. If you agree, we will send you transactional text messages about your rental delivery and setup — including on the way with ETA, arrived, and setup complete, plus a tracking link. Message frequency is low, typically 1 to 3 messages per delivery. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or cancel, and HELP for help. You can still book without texts — do you agree to receive these SMS updates?”
Staff then checks the SMS consent box on the order/quote only if the customer answers yes. Details also appear at Privacy (SMS) and Terms (SMS).
